Woodford Reserve 70cl Bottle

Woodford Reserve is a super-premium small-batch bourbon with roots at the Labrot & Graham Distillery (circa 1812), a National Historic Landmark in the bluegrass region of central Kentucky. Over 200 years of bourbon knowledge has gone into the making of this award-winning spirit. Woodford Reserve is a sour mash straight bourbon made at Kentucky's oldest distillery. It is the only bourbon which is triple distilled in copper pot stills, the time-honoured method of production. It is then aged in new charred American oak barrels in the stone ageing warehouses alongside Glenn's Creek. Woodford Reserve's success is attributable to the bourbon itself and the discerning judgement of the Master Distiller, Chris Morris. It has developed an international following, culminating in its coveted Gold Medal award at the 2001 International Wine & Spirits Competition in London, Gold Medal at the 2003 International Spirit Challenge in London and double Gold Medals at the World Spirits Competition in 2000, 2001 and 2005 - the only bourbon ever to achieve this.
