Blandys - Verdelho 10 Year Old 50cl Bottle

Madeira & Marsala

Clear and bright topaz colour, with a golden hue right up to the rim. Fresh and fragrant bouquet of dried fruits and spice with luxurious warm orangey aromas. Medium dry and full- bodied. Concentrated and fresh with a pleasant zesty bittersweet edge from a finally balanced acidity. Long lingering aftertaste of exotic fruits with spicy overtones. Vinification: Blandy's 10 year old Medium Dry Verdelho underwent fermentation off the skins with natural yeast at temperatures between 18 degrees C - 21 degrees C in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks. During this totally natural ageing, the wine underwent regular racking before finally being bottled. Specification: Alcohol: 19% ABV pH: 3.45 Baume degree (20 degrees C): 2.2 Volatile Acidity: 0.36 g/l. Serving & Cellarage: Blandy's 10 year old Verdelho is fined and does not require decanting. It is excellent as an aperitif but is also exceedingly good with soups, feathered game and pates. It has been bottled when ready for drinking and will keep for several months after opening......
